Mr. Noll initially started his career with Marchase Refrigeration as a service technician and an installer of refrigeration equipment. Mr. Noll has also worked with various companies over the years, one of the most rewarding, working with Giant Eagle as their Field Service Engineer for over 5 years. This undertaking has led to numerous opportunities such as working with control venders, mechanical manufactures and has also assisted in the development of electronic controls within the refrigeration system. Mr. Noll’s knowledge of the mechanical systems led in the development of a Giant Eagle Programming Manual. The manual gives the contactor the ability to program the controller and set points that ensure the most energy efficient store possible with today’s technology. Giant Eagle’s Conservation and Engineering departments along with Parasense worked together to develop the “Kill-A-Watt” program. This program uses the Programming Manual to re-commission the stores energy management systems to optimize performance. This program played a key role in Giant Eagle becoming EPA ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year for Excellence in Energy Management 2004 through 2007.

In Mr. Noll’s 5-year career at Giant Eagle, he was recognized for his achievements with two Gold awards and one President’s award, these awards are the highest honors that Giant Eagle offers to its employees. In 2002, Mr. Noll was also elected into the Who’s Who Historical Society.

RWS has performed multitudes of commissioning projects for the Super Market Company, Giant Eagle. This service includes refrigeration start up, building management systems, HVAC and complex lighting controls for proper design, install and energy saving strategies. RWS also attends job meetings and works directly with contractors to insure the project meets the design intent and is installed as per spec drawings and details.
